What is the m0nitor MCP server?

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint that lets an AI agent such as Claude or Cursor call m0nitor directly - listing projects and monitors, running diagnostics, and managing incidents, maintenance and status pages.

How do I authenticate an MCP client?

Create a personal access token on the API tokens page and send it as a bearer token: Authorization: Bearer <your token>. The same token also works for the REST API.

Which MCP clients does m0nitor support?

Any client that speaks Streamable HTTP with a custom Authorization header, including Claude Code, Cursor, and Claude Desktop via the mcp-remote bridge.

Are there rate limits on the MCP server?

Yes - 60 requests per minute per user, the same limit as the REST API, and the endpoint requires a plan with API access.
